Our Flock

Crystal is a pure white Romeldale. She was born 1/02, is full bodied, gentle and so easy to handle. She is one of our official "greeter" sheep, always at the gate to say hello.

Mila, our beautiful natural colored Romeldale was born 3/03. She also works with Crystal as a greeter. She is very affectionate, will allow anyone to visit with her even on pasture. She gave us a surprise in late June when we found she had horns growing! They are now about 1/2" long. Her father had horns, but an unusual trait for a ewe.

Daphne is a CVM. She was born 1/03 and is probably the sheep with the dearest personality. She has very long fiber locks in a taupe/gray underneath and oh so soft.

Wetherby, a pure white Romeldale, is the lucky guy here. He is a wether so therefore gets to spend all year with the girls. He was born 3/03 and also has long, very soft locks. Because he doesn't have seasonal hormonal changes he will produce beautiful fleece consistently. He is the true definition of gentle as a lamb.

Bea is a CVM. She was born 1/01, daughter of Gina and Todd and is a half sister to Memphis. There are times I cannot tell them apart. She epitomizes the true CVM breed in markings and conformation. She is a grand ewe.

Jackie is a CVM. She was born 2/02, daughter of Dud, famous around the country! Jackie exemplifies the true CVM markings. She has a very thick fleece, a soft gray underneath with a very dark chocolate underbelly. Jackie also has white marks just above her eyes which give her a look of surprise every day!

Savannah is a CVM and the first ARCR registered CVM to ever be born in the state of New Hampshire! She is a twin, born 3/03, from Memphis. She has a very long body and legs giving her an elegant look. Her fleece is very similar to Memphis and Bea, shorter staple and a very fine, pronounced crimp.

Memphis is a CVM and the grand dame of the farm. She is the face you see on the web page and all our graphics. Memphis was born in 1/01 daughter to Athena and Todd. She is very regal, docile and definitely the queen of the flock.

Ashley is a natural colored Romeldale with a soft, rich chocolate colored fleece She is 8 years old and is oh, so mellow with a very gentle disposition.

Daisy is a CVM born in 1/04. She has the classic CVM badger markings, a medium gray colored fleece with a fine crimp. Her body is stocky and muscular with a personality to match!

Trinity is one of Ashley's triplets. Ashley has the lowest micron count (finest fleece) in our flock at 21.4. Trinity was the only ewe of the three, jet black with one spot on the top of her forehead. She is a natural colored Romeldale. Her fleece is a longer staple and very soft, hopefully the fleece genetics will carry! She was a bottle lamb and learned from the get go to fend for herself. She marches to her own drum and is happy, happy, happy!

Jasper is the cutest; he will always be cute! Twin to Georgia, he has his mother's good looks, another classic CVM. Due to his smaller frame, however, we decided to wether him and keep him for fleece production. He has a long staple, relaxed crimp and is so soft. He's also a real shmooze!

Georgia, twin ewe of Jackie has direct Dud line genetics. The minute Georgia was born I knew she belonged to us. She is a CVM with spots! A very soft fleece and a longer staple with a relaxed crimp, she has an incredible variegated cream/gray/black fleece. She has a spot right in the middle of her nose.

Peach is twin ewe to Tybee, a fine example of a CVM. Her markings are traditional, her fleece is soft and cream colored with a dark underbelly and she is as sweet as her name. Both Peach and her brother Tybee are direct descendents of Todd; strong, solid and great conformation.

Sweet Charlotte, Memphis' ewe single this year has the traditional CVM markings. She has a light chocolate fleece with beige undertones, lovely and soft. When she was a lamb she baaed at everything, a very distinctive baa, we'd tell her "hush, hush sweet Charlotte". Hence the name stuck!

Tybee is a CVM; his dam is Bea, and he has a handsome soft, fleece in light chocolate, beige and black. Wethered, he is docile yet inquisitive and one of our fiber boys!

Lucy is a white Romeldale hailing from Oregon, daughter of Eyebrows and George. She is very gentle, loves apples and a good chin rub. Her fleece is average length with a nice crimp.

Della is a white Romeldale originating from Oregon. She has very soft fleece in a longer staple length. Della is a calm ewe with a good lambing history.
